Activities: Eating and traveling
Hello, dear members of the Kitchen.
This Tamkarnwela episode will take you to sample food at the Novotel Bangkok Ploenchit Sukhumvit Hotel, because right now they have a "Fisherman's Market" festival.
Let's bring the seafood menu ashore at The Square restaurant.
In addition to fresh seafood, The Square also offers a wide variety of dishes in its buffet line.
The Fisherman's Market Festival is back with a seafood menu on land. It's available Monday-Thursday for 960++ with Accor card holders getting a 50% discount and a 2-for-1 deal on participating credit cards. For more information, please contact the hotel directly.
The atmosphere is simple and modern. From what I understand, this place has been open for 4 years and the maintenance of the facilities is very good.
Let's choose our seats first. We came early, so feel free to choose any seat you like.
The long table is reserved today. I understand that companies often come here to have lunch.
We can start with a bread salad.
The highlight is this corner where all kinds of seafood are gathered. The chef has carefully selected the ingredients.
Let's take a closer look at each section.
Chilean oysters, New Zealand mussels, very sweet.
Crabs are packed tightly together.
The shrimps are this big.
Raw fish is also fully served.
Sushi is also served.
Another corner that focuses on fresh seafood, we can choose to have the staff grill it for us.
This is a Pla Nam Dok Mai, the fish meat is really fresh.
Let's take a look at the menu on LINE to see what they have to offer. From what I've heard from the chef, they rotate the dishes on the menu regularly. And there are other options besides seafood. If you come every day for a week, you won't get the same thing twice.
Pan-fried John Dory with lemongrass sauce: Crispy fish served with a tangy and slightly sweet sauce.
Roasted pork loin with onion hoary marmalade Pork loin roasted with onion marmalade
Maryland Fried Chicken
Baked black mussels in white wine with basil leaves
Salmon baked in rock salt
The turkeys are also here, sleeping fat and waiting...
A light Indian food corner, the chef is Indian.
Pizza is also served. The chef makes it fresh.
What kind of role would you like to take on?
Health Corner
I love this tray. Sprinkle it with pleasure..
Bread is full.
Lately, I've been really into this.
Moderate cheese
Time to eat! The first dish is a full plate of grilled seafood with a spicy seafood dipping sauce.
This dish is missing acacia leaves... I already told the chef.
The fish is fresh and good.
This dish can be stir-fried by the chef. At the corner of the spaghetti, there are stir-fried, tomato sauce and white sauce.
We secretly added shrimp, which everyone can do. You can be creative and add seafood to your spaghetti dish as you like.
Lobster Bisque Soup ... Personally, I found it a bit bland and there could have been more lobster meat in the soup.
Fruit juice is not included in the buffet.
Delighted.
The long-awaited moment has arrived..
I can't try everything, I'm afraid.
Cheesecake, please.
This cake is a special creation by the chef, featuring white chocolate... It's beautiful.
And for those who love to drink, there is also Free Flow wine / beer. It is very suitable for socializing.
The food in the buffet line at The Square restaurant at the Novotel Bangkok Ploenchit is quite complete. It's not a long line where you walk around and don't know what to eat, but you can easily choose what you like.
The Fisherman's Market Festival is here! Enjoy a variety of fish dishes from now until February 26th. Personally, I think the best deals are the credit card promotions like "buy 2 get 1 free" or using your Accor card.
Thank you Novotel Bangkok Ploenchit Sukhumvit for inviting me to try the food.
