Hello, fellow members of the Kitchen.

This edition of Tamkarnwela will take you to taste Japanese food at Koken Sushi. This restaurant is a Japanese restaurant in the form of fusion food, blending original Japanese food with new flavors. The food served here is food that we cannot eat at other restaurants because the chef here has invented the recipe himself. But if you want to eat the original, there are some menus served here as well.

Nowadays, new sushi restaurants are opening almost every day, and each one is confident in the freshness of their ingredients. Koken Sushi is no different, confident in the quality of their ingredients as much as any other restaurant. However, what sets this sushi restaurant apart from others is that the owner is also the chef.

... There may be some restaurants where the owner is also the chef, but how many restaurants can create menus that are as interesting and flavorful as this one?

Let's take a look at the food at this restaurant.

Koken Sushi is located in Soi Narathiwat 15. Enter the alley and the shop is on the right-hand side. It's not hard to find.

The shop is a white house in a quiet and peaceful area, as it is a residential area. It's hard to believe that it's so peaceful so close to Sathorn.

The warm, homey atmosphere extends to an outdoor dining area.

I don't want to say it's like eating at a friend's house because there are many restaurants with this concept, but I can't think of another word to describe the identity of this restaurant. I have to use the phrase "like eating at a friend's house" over and over again, just like other places. 555++ Because it really is like that.

Most of the guests I saw that day came in large groups.

Let's find a place to sit. I'm getting hungry.

Chef King's cuisine is a fusion of new ideas in dining. Sometimes customers may ask Chef King to help prepare food to serve in what they want to eat but not on the menu, Chef King can create it, but it depends on what the customer wants. Whether it is compatible or not, and most importantly, it must be delicious. This place will be famous for Roll.

Serve hot green tea first.

Steaming hot egg custard will be served to all tables as an appetizer while you wait for your food. It's delicious!

The first dish is Gama soup, a sweet and fragrant broth for 145 baht.

Ken's Salad This dish features an assortment of fresh raw fish tossed in a flavorful sauce (dressing) for 320 baht.

You can take it home after trying it. Personally, I prefer the bottle on the left.

This dish is a must-try because it was featured on the TV show THE DISH and won the Golden Menu competition. It's a new creation by Chef King, and its name comes from the perfect combination of Thai and Japanese ingredients, just like the iconic couple, Koburi and Angsumalin, from the novel "Khwam Pook Pun" (The Karma).

Featuring Japanese scallops with a salsa made from our local Dok Mai mangoes.

Grilled Japanese eel with young chilies, one serving has 2 pairs, enough for 2 people to share without fighting.

When eating, eat the Hotate first because the taste is lighter than Unagi. This dish costs 260 baht.

BSC Roll: Baked Scallop, Shrimp, Mussel over California Roll

The California roll has a sweet and fragrant taste, topped with scallops and shrimp baked with Japanese mayonnaise. Everything is in perfect harmony. This dish costs 330 baht.

Refreshing Roll

Consists of salmon, tuna, hamachi, avocado, topped with spicy sauce.

Delicious and refreshing for 280 baht.

Meat lovers, don't miss this dish! Tenderloin Australian Beef, a juicy Australian sirloin steak.

The meat is well marinated and drizzled with Japanese-style black pepper soy sauce.

This dish has very tender meat. The price is 320-350 baht depending on the size of the meat.

This menu item was created by a customer who asked Chef King to make it. It was so delicious that it had to be added to the menu. It consists of salmon wrapped around tuna and crab for 295 baht.

Tuna Avocado Shrimp Roe Sushi with Special Sauce 170 Baht

I've had several fusion dishes, so I'd like to try some basic dishes to see what this restaurant is like.

A peek at the ingredients

I challenge you to try Salmon Sashimi because when I went there was a promotion for 150 baht. I wanted to see what 150 baht Salmon Sashimi would look like. The pattern came out beautifully, so it was up to standard.

Salmon seikyo 60 baht each.

To end with dessert, 4 Corners, 4 desserts together.

This plate of Brownie, Banana, Vanilla and Green Tea was devoured in no time at all. It cost 250 baht.

And cold drinks, because this place is also a Sushi & Bar.

The menu at Koken Sushi has names that are a bit difficult to remember, and I think many people would agree. 555++ But the taste of the food is beyond expectations for those who like fusion-style food. Let's just say that if you have the opportunity to eat there, just point at the pictures on the menu and you won't be disappointed. I myself intend to find time to go back soon.

Thank you, Koken Sushi & Bar, for inviting me to try your delicious Japanese fusion cuisine. I was not disappointed!

Thank you for all the time we've spent together.

Thank you Pantip.com for providing such a great platform for sharing experiences.
