Go to Khao Kiri Wong for a refreshing lung cleanse
Stay in a homestay for 400 baht, including one dinner.

Honestly, I never thought I'd want to go here.
Because before I came, I thought it must be a mess.
It must have been destroyed for sure.

It can be said that in the past two years,
No one doesn't know

This place has passed its peak
That is, there are really a lot of tourists.

Today, we want to present our perspective
from our visit to Khao Kiriwong.
Let's try to listen to our feelings with your heart.

#Take the cow to hunt

We started by taking a van from Krabi Bus Terminal.
Since our house is not far away, we wanted to try taking a bus for a change.

Actually, we could have driven our own car, but it wouldn't have been as much of a travel experience for us.

We took the bus to the entrance of Khao Kiri Wong and then took a songthaew to the village.

We left Krabi a little late and arrived when it was already dark.
We went looking for accommodation because we hadn't booked anything in advance.
We asked around and were told about Phetkiri Homestay, one of the first homestays in the village.
When we arrived, we were starving, so we didn't even have to ask about the food. It was delicious and very much to our taste.

That night, we found it was very, very cold.

If you didn't tell me, I would have thought I was in the north.
When I woke up in the morning and opened the window of the accommodation, I found a good atmosphere.

This is a bedroom. There is no air conditioning. The bathroom is shared. Not suitable for luxury lovers.
The price is 400 baht per "person". Dinner is included.

Accommodation is available for 2 people, 3 people, up to 20 people.

Walking down to play in the morning, the atmosphere around the house is very good. The villagers greet each other like relatives. I like it.

A must-try activity is cycling around my village. Let me tell you, it's super tiring!

If it's about 5 kilometers round trip

Bicycles are available for rent at 50 baht per bike. There are plenty of them available at my accommodation.

Whoever goes there, you must arrange it. It's very chill.

This place is famous for its abundant and affordable fruits.

And more importantly, it's just been picked from the garden.

A lot, huh?

What you will definitely encounter are the "zero" cars that the villagers use to go up to the fruit orchards.

Everywhere I look, there are cars like this. So cool.

The water is super clear and very cold.

Enjoying a leisurely bike ride. The suspension bridge at Tha Ha is our destination.

We have arrived at Hin Ta and Hin Yai Rocks in Laem Promthep.

I want a cool picture, hehe.

The suspension bridge is a point that no one has ever reached, just like no one has ever reached Khao Kiriwong.

It was tiring to get to the point of playing.

The view from the suspension bridge in the distance is Khao Luang.

I was cycling back when I came across these two teenagers playing in the water. I stopped to chat with them for a bit. They were very talkative and told me that their school was closed for the day, so they came to play in the water. They said they liked it, and I did too.

Two siblings ^^

And the villagers here still wash their clothes in the stream.
It's another way of life for the people around here.

A while later, a car drove past. Zero again. I really want to drive.

After driving for a while, I started to feel hungry.
When I come here, I have to eat rice noodles. Let's eat!

No need to talk too much, just eat until your stomach bursts.

What a stroke of luck! An auntie told me it had been raining for days and had just stopped today. I took a picture to capture the moment.

Very beautiful, piled up high.

To my heart's content, there were very few people when I went. This was on a Saturday.
At first, I thought there would be a lot of people.

After a savory meal, you can't miss a sweet treat. This is the way of the common people.
This shop is the place to go. It's called Baan Nai Thung.
The iced tea is delicious.
The atmosphere is great and the owners are very friendly.

In the end, I would like to thank Auntie Sri very much for letting me taste the mangosteen for free. And then I stood and bragged to her until my legs cramped.

Thank you for recommending places to visit in Khiri Wong.
This shop is located next to the largest grocery store in Khiri Wong.
Anyone who goes to support the old lady, she is very good-humored.

And the bus stop to get into town is right at the Kiriwong Bridge.

You can take a songthaew from

You can easily reach the city center of Nakhon Si Thammarat, which is about 30 kilometers away.

It's time for us to say goodbye to Khao Kiri Wong.
This trip to Khao Kiri Wong has completely changed my mind. Before I came, I thought there wouldn't be anything interesting to see.
In reality, Khao Kiri Wong doesn't have much. I don't want anyone to just check in and leave. Try staying for a night, talking to the villagers. The charm of this place is the peace, quiet, and the friendly villagers who always smile wherever you go. Thank you, Thai people, for still loving each other.
In the end, Khao Kiri Wong will always be in my heart.
