Who loves beautiful flowers? Lots of them!

Hello everyone,

Today, we will take you to a new and super large tourist destination in the Northeast.

"Let's go for a walk and take photos in a cool, non-hot environment.
I highly recommend this place. You shouldn't miss it!"

This place offers a variety of activities, all in one place. You don't need to go anywhere else.

For the "Siam Tulip Festival" at Pela Plern in Buriram Province (not just a great football team!), there are beautiful tulips in a variety of colors.

There are also many colorful cold-weather flowers. It's a great place to bring your children or parents to enjoy the beauty, and it's not hot either.

After admiring the flowers, you can pick fresh strawberries from the garden. In addition to beautiful flowers, there are many activities to do, including adventure, rock climbing, ATV driving, ziplining, etc.

If you want to bring your family for a relaxing vacation, there are also accommodations available. Everything in one place!

Buriram also has an airport, making it very convenient to travel there. The flight from Bangkok takes only about 45 minutes. We departed from Bangkok on AirAsia.

From the airport, it takes another 40 minutes by van to reach our destination.

"Pela Plern" itself.

Upon arrival, you will find the ticket booth for the flower park.

Admission is 150 baht for adults and 80 baht for children, which is very reasonable.

There is also a souvenir shop at the front for those who want to buy gifts for their friends.

The interior is mainly decorated in a vintage, contemporary style.

Upon entering, you will encounter the Once Upon a Time Gallery Museum.

This museum houses antiques from 30-50 years ago, some of which are local relics.

Next, you will encounter the Pela Plern Sheep Farm.

Here, you can participate in activities such as feeding the sheep and giving milk to adorable baby lambs.

The children were very excited to see this.

Continuing on, we will encounter the Temple Fair Activity Zone.

Here, various temple fair activities are recreated for your enjoyment.

Playing balloon games is also a lot of fun, like being 14 again.

The highlight of Pla Plearn is the "Floea Park Flower Park".

This area is divided into 6 greenhouses, each with different flowers and plant species.

There is also information about each type of plant in each greenhouse, making it a great place for children to learn.

During our visit, it was the "Siam Tulip Festival", which showcases cold-weather flowers.

This festival takes place every year from December to February.

Visiting the "Under the Royal Umbrella" exhibition, we will witness the exquisite beauty of flowing fabric patterns, resembling raindrops cascading under the protective shade of the royal umbrella.

Let's meet at the first greenhouse, which is our favorite.

Greenhouse 1: International Flowers You will find a dense field of bright yellow tulips.

This is the highlight of the Siam Tulip Festival.

There are many more colors available for tulips, giving you a truly satisfying selection.

And there are many other types of cold-weather flowers.

Greenhouse 2: The Primeval Forest recreates the feeling of being in the prehistoric era.

We will see over 60 species of ferns and dinosaur statues.

It is a favorite spot for children.

This is a petrified wood, some of which were excavated in the area of Phela Phlelin.

Greenhouse 3 Colors of Nature Exhibits various carnivorous plants and bromeliads.

The Nepenthes plant is a carnivorous plant.

Decorate with colorful pineapple plants to create a beautiful underwater world.

Greenhouse 4, Kinnaree displays various species of orchids and sculptures of Kinnaree, as if they were playing in the water among the beautiful orchids.

Greenhouse 5: The Great Pyramid showcases desert plants.

From giant to small cacti, the collection is truly impressive. There are also many tropical plants on display.

Additionally, there is a replica pyramid and a large number of new camels.

The Last Greenhouse: Greenhouse No. 6: Southern Isan Art is decorated with "Dok Ngua" flowers. It will showcase the simulated lifestyle of the Southern Isan people, including weaving equipment and various aspects of their daily lives.

Leaving the greenhouse, we embark on a thrilling adventure.

We hop on ATVs and explore the diverse gardens of Pela Plern.

Our journey leads us to a cherished spot: a strawberry farm.

Who would have thought that strawberries could be grown in the hot northeastern region of Thailand?

The variety of strawberry grown is the Royal Project 80.

Very big and very sweet.

This is freshly picked from the garden. It's huge!

One of the highlights of my trip was the opportunity to drive ATVs on a dedicated track.

The track was approximately 1 kilometer long and featured numerous hills, making it an exhilarating experience for thrill-seekers.

As you can see from the pictures, I had a lot of fun.

Next, we will take a look at a traditional Thai house from the reign of King Rama V.

Each item has a fascinating story to uncover.

My favorite is the antique water filter. I never imagined such a device existed in the past.

Let's move on from the Thai house to the ancient market.

Freshly made traditional Thai desserts are available, including Thong Yip, Thong Yot, and Foi Thong.

Yes, there are also "Khanom Krok".

Feel free to try making Foi Thong if you'd like.

The next stall I really liked was the chili paste stall. There were so many different types of chili paste, and they also had different kinds of rice.

The food was incredibly delicious, especially the mushroom chili paste, which was pleasantly spicy.

Next, I will take you to an exciting activity.

Before participating in the activities, staff will provide instructions on how to play and equip you with the necessary safety gear.

The first base is a simulated rock climbing activity that requires a lot of physical strength.

Base 2 walks the rope bridge.

The third base zipline is exhilarating.

This is an activity of running on a rubber sheet or ninja running. You have to try it.

The most exciting part is the final base, which is a 15-meter high rappel from the building.

It's so thrilling that you have to try it.

Pela Plearn also offers accommodation.

If you come to visit, we recommend staying at least one night, as one day is not enough to explore Pela Plearn.

There are so many activities to do.

Accommodation is divided into two sections:

The hotel's interior is decorated in a white color scheme, including the tables, chairs, and furniture. This creates a clean and relaxing atmosphere.

After finishing the room tour, we are starting to feel hungry.

It's time to eat our delicious food.

At Pela Ploen, there is also a restaurant called Pela Plearn available.

You can eat any meal there.

And for those who are not staying at Pela Ploen, you can also come and eat.

Today, for lunch, the chef will prepare a special dish that will give you a taste of southern Isaan. Let's take a look.

Incredibly impressive, isn't it? The taste is beyond words, incredibly delicious. You have to try it to believe it.

Does the food look delicious?

A breakfast buffet is available in the morning.

Don't miss this! The highlight is the delicious coconut milk pancakes.

For those who enjoy leisure activities, there are tie-dye workshops and rice flour garland making. These activities are open to children and adults who are interested in learning or participating.

Take home your unique tie-dye fabric after the workshop.

Pela Plearn also offers meeting rooms of various sizes, including those large enough to host wedding ceremonies.

50-person seminar room

The staff at Pela Plearn were very friendly, attentive, and took good care of me.

At first, I didn't think Buriram had much to offer in terms of tourism. Most people probably only think of football when they think of Buriram.

However, after visiting Pela Plearn, I believe that anyone who comes to Buriram and doesn't visit Pela Plearn is missing out. It has everything you could possibly need.

It's a great place for families to relax and have fun, with its flower park, various activities, and accommodations.

Importantly, you can visit Pela Plearn all year round, as the attractions change with the seasons.

Throughout 2017, visitors can enjoy the following flower festivals:
December 2016 – February 2017: Tulip Festival of Siam
March 2017 – May 2017: Garden of Time Festival
