BPJourney: A Trip to Reuan Rim Ler Homestay
Hello everyone, this is not our first trip, but it is another trip that we are impressed with and would like to share with everyone so that you can travel to Thailand in a way that everyone can go. I have just reviewed it in this room. If there is anything wrong, I apologize here.
Whether you're traveling with close friends or family, I highly recommend this place: Ruen Rim Ler Homestay. Even without a private car, you can bring your family, close friends, loved ones, or even a casual fling, as long as everyone is in good spirits.
1. Where is the Rimlay Homestay located?
2. What is the significance of the lakeside pavilion, and why is it a destination?
3. How to get there without a private car? I want to go, but... how can I go without a car?
Let's embark on a journey to uncover the answers together. With backpacks and cameras in hand, we'll explore the houses by the sea. Are you ready? Let's go!
This trip was planned with the intention of taking the family on a vacation to relax and recharge. We chose this location because Bas and Phim had previously visited and were highly impressed by several aspects. Additionally, it is conveniently located near Bangkok and, importantly, offers a group rate of only 800 baht per person for groups of five or more. Despite the low cost, the experience provided immense joy and entertainment, exceeding expectations.
For this trip, we took a van from Rangsit on the Bangkok-Hua Hin route, but we got off at Mae Klong. It cost 120 baht per person.
9:40 AM, wheels rolling from Rangsit towards Samut Songkhram. Our destination: Mae Klong district.
The tuk-tuk driver happened to be dropping off a passenger, so I asked him if he was going to Wat Thammaprasit. He said yes, so I jumped in the car.
View along the way to Wat Thammaprasit
Oh, look! There's a songthaew following us closely. Hehehe.
13:00 p.m. The tuk-tuk driver dropped us off at Wat Thammaprasit. The fare was 40 baht per person.
The songthaews we saw also terminated their route at Wat Thamphraสิทธิ์.
Upon arrival at the pier, we contacted the charming boatman of Khlong Khon, Mr. Wan, to pick us up and take us to our accommodation, the Reuan Rim Le Homestay.
Within 5 minutes, the handsome Wan arrived with his trusty boat to take us to our accommodation.
The boat ride was so short that the smell of our farts hadn't even faded before we arrived at Ruen Rim Ler Homestay.
Hello, Seaside House
This is where you'll find a receptionist named Jaolukchin. Jaolukchin is the reason I wanted to come back here again because it's so cute.
This location boasts five houses for accommodation. Our family stayed in the penultimate house, which offered ample shade. This visit was significantly more enjoyable than our previous one.
The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. There is no TV, refrigerator, or other amenities, but this is the place to relax your body, mind, and recharge your energy.
A place to relax in front of the house.
Feeding the monkeys here is prohibited. Previously, there weren't many monkeys around. However, once people started feeding them, they began to gather here. They are not aggressive towards people or property, but they will approach in search of food.
Local residents use boats as their primary mode of transportation.
After taking photos for less than 15 minutes, it was time for the first meal of the trip. 555555
This is just the first meal, and I must say it's quite impressive. They offer free refills on rice, which is a great bonus. For 800 baht, this meal is definitely worth it.
When their food supply dwindled, they fled into the forest.
Are lungfish cute?
Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate today. Suddenly, the sky became overcast and it started to rain unexpectedly. As a result, we had to postpone the activity until tomorrow. Please feel free to relax and enjoy your day.
5:00 PM marks the long-awaited moment we've all been eagerly anticipating...
This dish is a must-try when visiting Samut Songkhram. Known as "Bai Chakham," it is a local delicacy unique to Samut Songkhram and Samut Sakhon provinces.
This menu is a perfect match, incredibly delicious! 55555
The sun sets with a beautiful view, but our house faces away from the sun. 555555
5:20 AM: Woke up feeling refreshed and determined to catch the sunrise.
The accommodation provides coffee, chocolate, and hot water in the morning.
My little meatball woke up and sat with me early this morning.
6:30 AM, it's breakfast time! Ta-da!
Shrimp congee with an abundance of large, succulent shrimp, boasting an exceptional flavor that will leave you in awe.
Eating and watching the sunset, but...
As if sensing the presence of food, the monkey is peeking again. Please don't come and bother us.

This monkey must be thirsty. It looks quite cute, doesn't it?
8:00 AM is the time for us to do activities for this trip. Let me tell you that besides the delicious food, the activities are also very worthwhile. Let me tell you.
Ready, let's go!
Our first activity was planting mangrove trees.
What do you gain from planting mangrove forests…?
They built a large house for aquatic animals that depend on mangrove forests...
This has led to a significant increase in the number of farmed animals, including trash fish such as black tiger shrimp, sea crab, and white seabass.
The project has successfully restored the mangrove forest that was eroded by the sea waves, leading to its significant regrowth.
This has resulted in coastal fishing communities becoming reliant on mangrove forests.
There are tourist attractions that are rich in resources for children and grandchildren to study.
It has made me feel happy to be able to contribute to the world. There are so many more things I can do.
After finishing planting the mangrove forest, we boarded the boat and continued our journey.
The villagers built a hut to guard their oyster farm and serve as a place of rest.
Resembling artificial coral reefs built by local communities to provide habitat for catfish.
There are a few long-tailed macaques in this area, but not many. They come here to find food.
A young monkey came with its mother.
The elder brother is searching for ark shells.
An abundance of crabs.
Next, we were taken by Brother Wan to see the oyster farm.
It's a pity I forgot to bring the lime, otherwise it would have been delicious.
and visit the mussel farm
This is a picture from last year. The water level was low, so I was able to try paddleboarding. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do it this year.
I caught both clams and crabs, but I released them back into the wild.
After visiting various oyster farms and gaining valuable knowledge from Mr. Wan, we arrived at the final and most special activity that Ruen Rim Lay had prepared for us.
My dad left after playing. When he finished, he held up five fingers, thinking he would play another five rounds. But it turned out he was saying "enough, enough, enough" hahahahaha
After my father finished playing, my younger brother only played for a short while before quitting. I played for two rounds, but I couldn't take it anymore and my arms were sore.
After playing until we were exhausted, Wan took us back to our accommodation.
Upon arriving at the accommodation, we showered and got dressed to prepare for our return. Before leaving, we didn't forget to take a picture together with the sign.
Farewell, beach house. See you again when the opportunity arises.
For those who are looking for a place to relax and unwind, I highly recommend "Ruen Rim Lay Homestay".

Finally, the expenses for this trip that we spent are as follows:
The trip costs 800 baht per person, including three meals, drinks, accommodation, and various activities.
The van fare from Rangsit to Maeklong is 120 baht per person.
The fare for a tuk-tuk ride to Wat Thamphra Sitsit is 40 baht per person.
The fare from Wat Thammasaphasit to Mae Klong is free because Mr. Wan and his family came to Mae Klong for business.
The total cost per person is only 1000 baht, with a change of 40 baht.
Note: This does not include food purchased for personal consumption, as some individuals may bring in alcohol, cigarettes, or grilled fish.
In conclusion, I would like to express my gratitude to all who have read this far.
