If I only have 2 days and 1 night of free time, Pattaya is often my top choice for a relaxing getaway. I enjoy sitting still and gazing at the ocean from my hotel room.
It is uncommon for me to not book a hotel in advance. Since this is a last-minute trip, I figured I would arrive in Pattaya first and then find accommodation.
This trip, I used a drone to capture footage, which I then edited into a short clip. Please take a look.
I left home around 7:00 AM and traveled approximately 230 kilometers. I arrived in Pattaya before 10:00 AM.
Driving around in search of a hotel, they found that almost all of them were fully booked, as it was a Saturday.
A friend who works in Pattaya helped me find a place. My requirement was to see the sea and the budget was no more than 3,500 baht.

The girl disappeared for 1 hour and sent a message back saying, "I booked it for you within your budget (actually, it could be less, I don't mind 555)."
Overlooking the sea, Hotel Mera Mera Pattaya (เมร่า มาเร่) is a newly opened hotel.
The Mera Mare Hotel is located at the beginning of North Pattaya Beach, in the middle of Central Pattaya, on Beach Road (Route 1).
The hotel is relatively new, having been open for approximately one year, according to the staff.
The entire first floor is a lobby decorated with alternating white and black marble patterns, complemented by dark-toned sofas.
The cool towel and welcome drink, which my wife and I shared, had a slightly sour taste, similar to lemonade, and was delicious.
But I have to keep wiping the sugar off my nose every time I lift the glass to drink. Hehe.
Adjacent to the lobby is a small bar.

The house is equipped with computers. This is the first time my wife has used an iMac. She was confused at first.
This is my room for this trip, a Deluxe room decorated in white tones.
The room offers a stunning sea view, encompassing the entire curve of South Pattaya Beach, stretching all the way to Khao Phra Tamnak.
The room is equipped with amenities that meet the standards of a typical 4-star hotel.
The bathroom features a clear separation between the wet and dry areas.
It also has my favorite rain showerhead.
The photo accidentally captured my shoes. I forgot to put them away when I took the photo. I only noticed when I was on the computer. What a mistake!
The breathtaking view of the Pattaya Sea from my hotel room balcony.

Central + South Pattaya Beach
I spent most of my time gazing at the sea from my room, which was my and my wife's intention from the beginning.
This simple act brings me great joy.
The twilight has arrived. Let's take a look at the hotel's atmosphere at dusk.
The pond here is not very big.
Located on the 2nd floor of the hotel, it will close at 9:00 PM.
It is evening, and there are still two tourists using the service.
This morning, I woke up early with the intention of photographing the breakfast room, as I was concerned that if I came down late, it would disturb the other guests.
The hotel's breakfast room is not very large, but it is sufficient for the number of guests.
A counter serving salads, various breads, and fruit juices.
The main food corner offers a variety of dishes, including fried rice, steamed rice, various types of eggs, smoked sausages, cheese-baked potatoes, and many other items that I cannot recall.
The bread looks delicious.
Orange juice, guava juice, and fresh milk for cereal.
This is what my wife's breakfast looks like. Does it look delicious?
Cornflakes with fresh milk of my own.
Adjacent to the hotel's breakfast room at the front is the hotel's pastry shop.
Pastry Addiction
The atmosphere is great, right on the beach with only a beachfront road separating you from the sand.
The shop is beautifully designed and inviting.
There are many stylish and comfortable corners for taking photos.
The highlight of this restaurant is the large glass windows, which offer stunning sea views while you enjoy your meal.
Ice cream that makes your mouth water.
The cakes all look delicious.
Pattaya visitors seeking ice cream and cake may find this establishment a compelling option.
This restaurant is always crowded. Even at 9 pm when I was there, there were still many customers dining.
Accommodation expenses for this trip. Please remove the address and ID card number.
The Mera Mare Hotel is located at the end of North Pattaya Beach, on Road 1 or Beach Road. It is a relatively new hotel.
The hotel has been open for about a year and has a total of 7 floors. The first floor is the lobby, and the remaining 6 floors are guest rooms in various styles.
Sea view from the room.
The hotel, while somewhat small in my opinion, is beautifully decorated and the staff provides excellent service.
From the security guard to the receptionist, restaurant staff, and even the housekeeper, everyone was friendly and welcoming. My wife and I were very satisfied with the service we received.
It is important to note that the lack of bidets in the restrooms may pose a challenge for some tourists.
This trip was a relaxing one for me, where I spent most of my time at the hotel and didn't take many pictures.
I wanted to sit still and gaze at the sea to relax, but I also took all these photos to share with my friends.
As I found almost no reviews of the hotel during my stay, I will take it upon myself to provide one.
Friends can discuss or view photos of hotels I have stayed at.
