This morning, I departed from my home in Ang Thong Province around 8:00 AM. I traveled on Asian Highway Route 7 and 9, covering a distance of 240 kilometers. By 11:00 AM, I had arrived in Pattaya. This trip was different from previous ones due to the implementation of a new, more expensive toll collection system. Previously, the final toll plaza, located after the Lat Krabang toll plaza, charged 60 baht. However, today, the final toll plaza was moved to a newly constructed road before entering Pattaya city, resulting in an increased toll of 105 baht.
May I have a power boost on the way, please?
First, I used still images and videos from the drone to create a short, approximately 2-minute video clip.
Please check it out.
The Garden Cliff Resort & Spa is a mid-sized resort located on Wong Amat Beach.
North Pattaya - Na Kluea area
Upon arrival in Pattaya, take North Pattaya Road and turn right at the Dolphin Roundabout.
Turn onto Pattaya - Klua Road, then turn into Soi Na Kluea 16. Drive straight for a short distance and you will find the hotel on your right.
Upon arrival at the hotel, guests will be greeted by the majestic black horse and the vast ocean.
The protagonist of the literary work Phra Aphai Mani awaits you at the lobby entrance.
The lobby is open-air, with welcome drinks of grape juice. However, I forgot to take a picture, haha.
The highlight is that you can see the sea view from the lobby.
In the evenings, musicians will perform live guitar accompanied by a backing track of jazz music for your listening pleasure.
I am currently waiting in the lobby for my room to be ready. I arrived early for check-in, and the staff informed me that the room is now available.
My room this time is a premium deluxe.
Fortunately, my first room was at the very front of the building.
The room offers stunning sea views from both the foot of the bed and the left side.
This is especially appealing to those who enjoy gazing at the sea from their rooms, like myself.
The bathroom is a good size, with a large mirror and a clear separation between the wet and dry areas.
Unfortunately, the bathroom lacks my preferred rain showerhead, but it does have a bidet. I suppose that's acceptable.
The joy of soaking in the water while admiring the ocean view is unparalleled.
Let's step out onto the balcony and enjoy the sea breeze. Can you see Laem Chabang Port in the distance?
The hotel's sandy beach and the Sanctuary of Truth are on the right-hand side.
A notable advantage of staying in a hotel near Na Kluea is the direct access to the beach without any intervening roads.
Let's explore the swimming pool.
There are three swimming pools: the main hotel pool, the beachfront pool, and the children's pool.
This swimming pool is the main pool of the hotel.
The view of the sea is visible when swimming, giving the impression of swimming in the ocean.
A shallow children's pool for little ones.
Accompanied by Phra Aphai Mani, who played the flute and acted as a lifeguard.
The right side will be pool access rooms.
However, during the scorching midday sun, it seems only foreigners are undeterred.
As Thais, we often seek refuge from the sun's heat in the shade of buildings, where we can enjoy the涼爽的微風。
The two ladies were caught by me and became models.
An aerial view showcasing the entirety of the hotel's swimming pool.
The final pool is a beachfront swimming pool.
Adjacent to the hotel's artificial beach.
The focus is more on soaking and playing than on serious swimming.
The hotel's artificial beach boasts fine, white sand that is soft and pleasant on the feet.
The Sea View Restaurant offers a vibrant and refreshing atmosphere with stunning 180-degree ocean views.
For lunch, I ordered a pizza with bacon and something else. It was delicious.
The price was 290 baht, including water. The bill came to 350 baht, which is okay, not too expensive.
Unfortunately, due to my hunger, I didn't have time to take a picture of the pizza before my wife devoured it.
Dusk has fallen, and the twilight is here. I'll take my leave to capture some photos.
Let's take a look inside the hotel.
Deluxe Pool Access Room
Adjacent to the lobby, there is a small bar and a bakery where you can enjoy a casual drink.
The hotel offers a promotion from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, during which cakes are sold at half the original price.
My esteemed wife would never miss out on such a promotion. These two cakes together cost 125 baht.
My cake topped with cherries and whipped cream
The young woman's vanilla cake topped with Oreos and strawberries.
The Cliff, the breakfast room where I woke up early to take pictures.
I apologize for being late, as it may disrupt the other guests.
The breakfast buffet offered a standard variety of options typically found in good-quality hotels, without being overly extravagant.
Open from morning until 10:30 AM.
Does my wife's breakfast look delicious?
Garden Cliff Resort & Spa is a mid-sized resort.
Approximately 230 rooms are available, each featuring a contemporary Thai design.
Situated on Wong Amat Beach, between North Pattaya and Na Kluea, the hotel boasts a prime beachfront location with no intervening roads.
Unlike North, Central, and South Pattaya, the area also offers stunning nighttime views of the Laem Chabang Port lights.
The hotel, in my opinion, appears somewhat dated, likely due to its age.
Overall, the hotel is in good condition. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the staff, including the security guards, are all very helpful.
From the receptionists and restaurant staff to the housekeepers, everyone was friendly and helpful.
Initially, I suspected that my SR status might be the reason for the treatment, but upon closer observation, I noticed that the staff treated other guests in the same manner.
This is another option for a Pattaya hotel in the Na Kluea area. It would be suitable for those who do not like the bright lights and hustle and bustle of North, Central, and South Pattaya.
Seeking a tranquil escape to admire the serene ocean.
- + + Hotel expenses are covered only for accommodation and breakfast.
I covered the costs of other meals and travel expenses myself, and there was no exaggeration or staging involved.
You can discuss or view photos of various hotels I have stayed at.
