This is my second visit to Eva Resort in over a year.
The hotel is hosting a photo contest for guests to share their most memorable experiences through photographs.
As a result of the judging, I received a 50% discount voucher for any room type of my choice.
This is the origin of my journey this time. After a while, I have visited Koh Chang so often.
+ + + It should be noted that I personally covered all the expenses incurred.
In addition to the accommodation fee, which I have only reduced by 50%. +++
Having finished offering alms, I immediately set out on my journey with the village's hope in the early morning.
After traveling over 400 kilometers, I arrived at the ferry port around 11:30 AM and quickly purchased a ticket.
The ferry slowly approached the dock, ready to depart. Passengers waited patiently in their cars, forming an orderly queue.
The sky is clear today, and the sea is green. It's as beautiful as the Andaman Sea.
After turning right upon exiting the port, I drove straight for a short while. When I saw this sign, I knew I was in the right place. I immediately turned in.
Eva Resort Koh Chang is centrally located on Klong Prao Beach, along the main road of Koh Chang.
The island's main road divides the resort's accommodations into two distinct zones: the mountain side and the ocean side.
This area is a mountain zone. The back will be a parking lot. But no matter which side you stay on, you must check in at the lobby on the sea side.
The lobby is an open-air space with a high ceiling, spanning four floors of the building.
Note: The original text is empty. There is nothing to translate.
The hotel's decor will feature white, blue, and dark gray tones throughout.
"Simple yet modern, I like the overall feel."
Waiting area for check-in registration
From the lobby, you can see the distant sea through the swimming pool.
Notes:
- I am ready to translate sentences or phrases from Thai to English.
- Please provide the text you want me to translate.
Adjacent to the lobby is a small bakery called The Teas.
There is a limited selection of cakes available.
The majority of hotel guests tend to sit and wait for check-in rather than engage in other activities.
The lobby is visible in the distance.
The hotel is U-shaped.
One side will be a building for various types of rooms.
The other side is a breakfast room and poolside bar.
A deep blue swimming pool stretches out, dividing the space in two.
Deluxe Poolside Room
The River Bar, a small bar by the pool, offers drinks and snacks.
After a tiring swim, a refreshing drink sounds like a good idea.
This time, I booked a deluxe room by the pool, which is very spacious.
A 6-foot bed fits comfortably with plenty of space to spare.
The housekeeper made the bed so tightly that I don't dare to sleep on it.
Note: The original text is empty. There is nothing to translate.
The bathroom is equally spacious, featuring a large mirror on the wall.
The wet and dry areas are clearly separated.
On the right side is a toilet bowl.
The left side is a wet area for standing showers, including my favorite rain shower head. I'll take a satisfying shower tonight.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Soap, toothbrush, and other personal care items are provided.
The hotel's private beach is a sight to behold. However, during my stay, swimming in the sea was not permitted.
During the period from mid-March to mid-October each year, the southerly winds carry away the sand on the beach.
As a result, guests staying during this period will encounter a large number of rocks on the beach.
Guests staying during this period who wish to use the white sand beach can walk along the beach to the right for approximately 150 meters.
White sand beaches can be found.
However, for guests staying between late October and early March each year, they will not find a large number of stones on the beach. This is because the north wind blows the sand back onto the beach as before.
In the evening, I recommend watching the sunset from this sandy beach.
Couples, don't miss this opportunity to enjoy the romantic atmosphere together.
This photo is of my wife. She is making music.
From 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, The Sand Bar, a small beachfront bar, offers a Happy Hour promotion where you can buy one drink and get one free.
My wife tried a coconut shake, which was delicious. It cost 150 baht per coconut.
However, the coconut water smoothie is not included in the free menu. Instead, they will offer a complimentary drink in a glass, such as a watermelon smoothie.
The twilight has arrived.
Let's take a long look at the hotel in the twilight before dusk.
Even in the evening, tourists, both Thai and foreign, can still be seen playing in the water.
Let's take a look back at the building in front, the hotel lobby.
Rooms with different styles offer views of the swimming pool.
Looking back at the hotel beach
Foreign tourists can sleep soundly.
This photo was taken when it was raining, causing raindrops to fall on the lens, creating spots. I only noticed it when I transferred the photo to my computer. What a pity.
The Sala Restaurant, a beachfront dining and bar destination for evening meals.
Offering BBQ, seafood, cocktails, and evening entertainment.
Live music and singing performances are also available.
The pleasant atmosphere enhances the dining experience.
The Spoon Breakfast Room
Located by the pool, near The Sala, the hotel's dinner restaurant.
The breakfast buffet lacked variety.
Note: The original text is empty, so the translation is also empty.
The hotel provides all the basic amenities expected of its class and ensures that supplies are always available.
Among the unusual dishes I saw that day were "khanom krok" (Thai coconut pancakes) and "kuay tiew nam sai" (clear noodle soup).
Appetizing bread
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Fresh milk, cornflakes, and various fruit juices
My wife's salad.
Cornflakes with fresh milk and guava juice
This dish is mine.
Seasonal fruits are also available.
Eva Resort Koh Chang is beautifully designed. Once I checked in, I didn't want to leave.
The hotel is centrally located on Khai Bae Beach, just off the main road of Koh Chang and a short distance from the pier, making it convenient and easy to get around.
Tourists without their own vehicles can still travel here with relative ease. There are various food stalls and shops selling different types of cuisine.
Convenience stores such as 7-Eleven or Lotus Express, as well as motorcycle rental shops, are abundant in the vicinity of the hotel.
It may not be as lively as White Sand Beach, but it's certainly not quiet enough to feel lonely.
This is my second time staying here, and all the staff, from the security guards to the housekeepers and receptionists, have been exceptional.
I am still impressed with the service, just like the last time.
The Wi-Fi in the room was inconsistent, sometimes working and sometimes not throughout the day of my stay.
Bidding farewell with this image of the swimming pool bathed in the twilight glow before nightfall.
You can discuss or view photos of various hotels I have stayed at.
