Phatthalung, a small province that is not as well-known as other provinces in terms of tourist attractions, despite having an abundance of untouched natural beauty, ranging from mountains to the sea. It boasts mountains, waterfalls, lakes, national parks, local culture, and community markets.

Today, I have a small, newly emerged tourist destination that is both beautiful and gaining popularity among local tourists. It is also becoming increasingly known to people from outside the area.

Coordinates: Located in Khuan Khanun District, just 20 km from the city center. Take the Phatthalung-Nakhon Si Thammarat route and drive for 20 minutes.

From Phetkasem Road, turn left and drive for just two kilometers to reach the destination. This area was originally a hill where locals excavated and sold topsoil. The plots were privately owned, ranging from two to five rai each. During the excavation, some areas with hard soil were left untouched, forming small islands. The excavated areas became deep pits. After heavy rain, water accumulated in these depressions, creating the scenic landscape we see today.

As tourism increased, embellishments were added. It is unclear whether this was a positive or negative development.

This is a tourist attraction that doesn't take much time. If you come from far away, it might not be worth it to come here alone. But there are many other places to visit in Phatthalung, so don't worry.

There are many angles to view, including some aerial shots captured using a drone.

Another interesting tourist destination in the city of Lung.
