After long road trip with friends from China. I want to take a short break with my family and travel to Prachuabkirikhan. Actually, I just came back from Hua Hin with my Chinese friends. But my mom wants to go to the beach then we agreed to take her to KHAO TAO as we all visit Hua Hin many times. This time we have one more relative joining the trip, so mom has buddy with same age. 

Actually, our relative got cancer. She has to get Chemo on schedules, but she is always full of energy and always travel with us. She just has to take medicines on time and avoid sweet,salty,sour and spicy food. Just live less worry and enjoy life. 

7^th September

We left Bangkok around 08.00am. My mom most excited for this trip, normally we take her travel every 2 months to change atmosphere and enjoy visiting new places and try difference foods, see difference things (as long as she can walk as now, she is 74 years old)

She actually like to visit café and take photos like other senior people but young at heart 😊

We stopped at a small but lovely café DOK MAI PRATU JAE KAN (actually name in Thai). 

I chose this café because it is not too big but look nice and they have variety menu which my mom can drink.

We arrived café around 09.00am and they just open so not crowded yet.

I ordered Pink Milk for mom and ice chocolate for our relative (both with less sugar). And a piece of lemon cheesecake for them.

I order honey lemon soda.

I like atmosphere of this café. They have lovely garden with small fountain in the middle.

Only small 6 tables indoor and 3 tables outdoor but all tables put small vase with lovely flower

After finished drink and cake, we continued to Hua Hin and stopped again at the palace. The ticket is only THB 90 per person to see around palace on ground floor.

They provide wheelchair so we let mom use as the distance from entrance to place take around 200 meters.

Unfortunately, it was raining so we can visit just some place under the roof as we did not bring umbrella

We took some nice shots for them at the palace

And then left for Hua Hin for lunch

Our lunch was at Chom Café and Restaurant. This restaurant is a branch of the same restaurant name originally in Chiang Mai (I’ve been there and really like their food).

We got last table as it was lunch time so there were lots of people. The restaurant quite big but maybe it is Saturday, so a lot of people travel to this area and come to this restaurant for lunch as well.

Our table is outdoor, but the weather was so good, so we were enjoyed

I ordered few menus which two ladies can eat as they cannot eat too spice, to sticky meat or vegetable

So, crab meat in red curry is one good option

Thai omelet

Stir-fried mushroom with egg

And I ordered watermelon no syrup

While waiting for our food, I got some nice shots from their garden

Small green garden with colorful flower and waterfall as same as in Chiang Mai

After rain, the garden look more fresh

The prices of their food not too expensive so we will come again if we visit Hua Hin next time

From restaurant to our hotel took only 20 minutes

I booked BLUE SKY HUA HIN (but location on KHAO TAO BEACH). We stayed BLUE SKY in Ranong and also in Khao Khor and we love all of them. This is first time for this hotel.

The hotel is located by KHAO TAO BEACH

I booked rooms on ground floor then mom and our relative do not need to climb up to 2^nd floor

They have big swimming pool

We checked in and at the lobby they set up welcome sign to all customer to get memories shots. And I did it as well.

We got our room. All room on ground floor located near the swimming pool

Inside my room decorated with retro style. Mom got room with Marilyn Monroe theme. And I got The Beatles theme.

I love that red sofa and red brick wallpaper

But highlight is The Beatles above the bed

And then the big bathroom with lovely decoration as well

I like this room, simple retro decoration with king size bed

The room is clean and look new as well as all furniture

After dropped luggage to the room. Then I walk around to the beach

They have lovely restaurant with sea view

And also steps to the public beach

The beach is so beautiful

Long beach, clean sandy like power and clear water

All area with small waves

The sky today is so good. The sea and the sky with similar color look like there is just small line separated them

There are some small fisherman boats on the sandy beach

Few people enjoy walking and swimming at the beach but may be too early because it was around 4pm so not many people on the beach

I walked on the beach to take some shot of the waves

And return to sit and relax at the restaurant

Listen to the softly sound of the waves while the wind blowing around

Only one feeling there was peaceful

I spent around 2 hours there just to enjoy the view

The room we booked included a BBQ for every room.

So, we enjoyed dinner by the beach

But for 2 ladies who cannot eat BBQ, we ordered some menus for them, but I was too late to take photos as they started tasting them as soon as they served :)

After dinner we return to the room for shower and relax

And I sit with my laptop to check some works before going to bed

8^th September

05.30am I woke up a bit early than normal. Because I checked the sunrise in this area will start from 06.09am and I want to get nice photos of sunrise

After washed my teeth then I walked to the beach and wait there

And what I saw was amazing, beautiful

I was sitting at the terrace of restaurant

After few minutes, there are some people come to the beach

I saw a mother holding her small boy walking to the beach

I took few shots of them and hope these pictures can express the feelings of comfortable and safe of the little boy while holding his mom's hand to get close to the sun rise.

As beautiful as the sunrise in the morning is the love from mom.

I spent around one hour there to enjoy the sunrising view

Then went back to my room to pack all stuff and prepare for breakfast.

Since this resort is small so before we walk to restaurant for breakfast. We stopped by at the small corner of lobby to take this family shot. Their staff so kind to helped us get this nice shot. You can see everyone smiling including our relative who hold The BlueSky resort board. She got cancer since around 2016. But she still enjoying her life.

We had breakfast, simple breakfast but good quality and taste. 

And after breakfast, two ladies took another photo with hotel's sign

We packed everything and waiting for the driver to pick us up. So, I have few minutes to check my works.

We left Blue Sky Resort around 09.50am and heading to visit a lovely cafe which located around 10 minutes from resort. Two 73 years old ladies from our family love to take photos especially at cafe.

Memory House Cafe is just 15 minutes away from our hotel. They open at 9am and we were first customers there.

The cafe looks nice, large area with seating indoor and outdoor

We order drinks and 2 pieces of bakery. Their drink is good with lovely decorations

We left cafe around 10am and stopped again at the train station. Mom has been there last year but that time the new station still under construction, so she wants to see again

And by coincidental, I got information about the Children with Multiple Disabilities foundation in Cha Am which is on the way to Bangkok.

Then we stopped by at supermarket and bought some stuff for them

We never visit this place before. They are 48 multiple disables boys and girls and 5 staff take care them all.

We met Mr.Nhoo (20 years old) who has talent about music. He can play many songs even he cannot see anything. His parents cannot take care him, so they send him here. 

He is a friendly guy and keep talking with us. I told him if I travel to that area I will visit him again. We spent around 30 minutes there talking with him and some other girls then left. 

It was a great weekend. We had great time at nice hotel, beautiful beach, delicious food and also, we shared some love to other people. 

Travel is not only going exactly on the plan you have. But you should be happy with everything even it just small moments and keep it for your memory. Because happy times come and go but the memories stay forever. 

And my next page of memory will be with a trip during 21-23 September to Phetchaboon!!
