When the body needs green, the lungs need fresh air. The first place that comes to mind is "Phu Tok, Chiang Khan". When the body craves it, what are you waiting for? Pack your bags. I headed to Loei Province by bus from Mo Chit Bus Terminal, heading to Chiang Khan, Loei Province. It took about 6-7 hours, and I arrived and headed to Phu Tok immediately. Phu Tok is not far from Chiang Khan, only about 7-8 kilometers. I thought I would sleep at the foot of Phu Tok today, so I could go up before anyone else tomorrow morning. Hehe. I walked straight to Baan Pla Phu Tok and contacted them to rent a tent for 500 baht per night.

The atmosphere here is great, the breeze is cool, and the owner is lovely. If you come to stay at Ban Pla, I recommend coming during the dark moon when you can see the stars fill the sky or hunt for elephants. The spot where I stayed is right next to Phu Tok, so in the morning, I could easily walk to catch a songthaew up to Phu Tok. Today, I was incredibly lucky. I came to see the sea of mist, and there was a sea of mist for me to see! I took a deep breath and was amazed. The mist was getting thicker and thicker, and it was worth the trip. The mist covered every area. I stayed at Phu Tok until the evening to capture the sunset. If you're interested, you can tell the staff because the only car that goes down from Phu Tok is at 6:00 p.m. The morning and evening atmospheres are equally beautiful.
