The picture is from my trip last year on November 12, 2017. The flowers were in full bloom.

This year, I visited on November 6, 2018. The flowers were 60% in bloom. (I will definitely visit again in the middle of the month.)

Location: Doi Mae U Kho, Khun Yuam District, Mae Hong Son Province

The location is not far from Khun Yuam district, approximately 30 kilometers. The temperature up there is quite cold, so if you plan to stay overnight, don't forget to bring warm clothes or book accommodation in advance. There is a camping ground available, along with restrooms, a restaurant, and a souvenir shop. This place is suitable for all ages as vehicles can easily access it.

Impression

The abundance of flowers is captivating. The vast expanse of yellow blooms covers the entire mountainside, visible from both sides of the road. The cool, refreshing air, bordering on cold, is a welcome respite. I highly recommend inviting your loved ones to experience this enchanting place. Not only will you be captivated by the scenery, but you can also visit the nearby Mae Surin Waterfall, which is equally stunning and just a short distance away.
