Escape the Ordinary!

"Bang Saray": A Hidden Gem on the Eastern Coast

"Bang Saray" is a name I only recently became familiar with last year. Knowing it as a fishing village, I initially dismissed it as a potential vacation destination, assuming it lacked suitable accommodations. However, my recent stay at "Kept Bangsaray" proved me wrong. The atmosphere around Bang Saray Beach far exceeded my expectations. Let's explore this hidden gem together!

Day 1

We drove along Bang Sare Beach, our destination not far ahead. The atmosphere here was pleasant, with a steady stream of tourists and a decent selection of shops and restaurants. If you're looking to escape the crowds of other Pattaya beaches, Bang Sare is a good option.

We have finally arrived at our accommodation. Just seeing the atmosphere at the entrance, we can hardly wait any longer!

Kept Bangsaray: A Tranquil Escape from the City's Hustle

Kept Bangsaray completely transformed our perception of a quick getaway. Despite being only a two-hour drive from Bangkok, the resort offered a complete escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Even with just one night, we felt fully rejuvenated. The beautiful beachfront setting, delicious food, and comfortable accommodations made for a truly relaxing experience.

This trip was all about embracing the moment and enjoying the resort's amenities. We didn't need to plan elaborate itineraries or venture outside the property. Everything we needed was right there, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the tranquil atmosphere without any worries.

The decor here is lovely and to our liking. It's not too flashy, with a focus on calming blue tones. There are cute little details about the sea and fishing hidden in various places, such as the signs in front of the rooms, keychains, and cutlery.

We were greeted with a refreshing blue Welcome Drink, the name of which escapes me, but its fragrance and coolness were delightful. Arriving slightly before check-in time, we took the opportunity to explore the hotel while waiting for our room to be prepared. Although the sky was overcast and threatening rain, the sun's rays remained as intense as ever, typical of Thailand. However, we were not bothered in the least, as the hotel's decor was simply charming in every aspect.

The lobby is not just a lobby, but also a space for various game activities.
There are pool tables, foosball tables, chessboards, and wooden building blocks for you to enjoy with your loved ones. ^^

Be happy. ;)

We walked to the beachfront zone, where there is a swimming pool and a place to have dinner. You can also just sit and relax. The hotel has a restaurant called Kept Marine Restaurant. Even if you are not staying here, you can come and have a meal. Looking back, you will see the accommodation building like this.

The nautical and fishing-themed decor is charming and perfectly complements the overall concept.

A sneak peek at the Kept Water Villa. Wow!

The poolside area is perfect for relaxing, swimming, or watching others swim. Feel free to do whatever you like!

Look at this walkway, it has a Maldivian vibe, right? We've never been there, haha. But we've heard people say that. The nickname "Maldives of Thailand" isn't easy to come by. But Kept Bangsalay is one of the places that has earned this nickname.

It's time to check into our rooms! Our room type is Kept Deluxe. The hotel guarantees that all rooms have a sea view.

And this is the "refrigerator", a refrigerator that is inside a wooden cabinet. If you just put the refrigerator, it will be out of theme, right?
So the refrigerator has to be in a wooden cabinet like this. Oh, stop! I'm tired of typing myself, haha.

Can I peek at the balcony for a moment? ...It's my own room, but I'm still peeking.

The highlight of the Kept Deluxe room is the spacious balcony with a bathtub. This allows guests to enjoy a private and relaxing bath while admiring the stunning sea view. What a treat!

The bathroom is spacious and comfortable, with a wet and dry separation. The decoration is simple in blue tones, with cute details as usual. All necessary amenities are provided, so you don't need to bring anything.

After a long and lazy afternoon in our room, it was time to head downstairs and explore the surroundings. We were also looking forward to joining the resort's evening activity. Every evening, weather permitting, the hotel takes guests on a sunset cruise. Guests who are interested can sign up at check-in.

While the beach is not directly accessible by foot, the resort has created an artificial beach for guests to enjoy. This provides a scenic spot for walks and photo opportunities, particularly popular among children.

The hotel provides luggage storage in every room, allowing guests to conveniently store their belongings during their stay. ^^

The Sea Pavilion is another charming spot at the hotel.

Was it very relaxing? It was so relaxing... I almost fell off the boat. I hurried to the bridge on the other side to board the boat. Because I was late, the seats on the upper deck were full, so I was honored to sit on the lower deck at the bow of the boat. He liked it (me).

The scene cuts to the middle of the sea.

This is Duck Island, where monkeys live.

The atmosphere is excellent. I am impressed.

Although the sun is shyly hiding behind the clouds today, preventing us from fully appreciating its brilliance, the experience of sitting on a boat and feeling the sea breeze against our skin is still a special moment.

This is the boat that took us to watch the sunset today.

Welcome drinks upon arrival, featuring refreshing lemonade, a small gesture from the hotel that left a lasting impression on many guests.

This area, known as "Floating Sea," offers breathtaking 360-degree views and has become a popular wedding venue for couples.

Upon returning to shore, we continued to admire the scenic views. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, as if time had slowed down. We sat there until we felt hungry, as we had decided not to venture out for dinner. Instead, we opted to savor the culinary delights offered by the hotel itself.

The table is full of food, viewers!

The crab curry is presented beautifully and has a mild flavor that will appeal to everyone.

This is a must-try: **Crispy turmeric-fried sea bass** with a delightful contrast of crispy exterior and tender interior, boasting a flavorful taste.

Fresh Shrimp Spring Rolls are a bit too large. The shrimp and vegetables are packed tightly.

This dish is both delicious and adorable. The clear tom yum soup with sea bass features bouncy fish meat and a flavorful broth. The playful presentation allows you to pour the broth yourself.

As I mentioned earlier, I won't be going anywhere today. I'll be staying around here, feeling full to the point of bursting. But we have to end on a sweet note with a dessert. The area where we're having dinner is perfect for chilling out. There's a cool breeze and live music to set the mood.

Trio Panna Cotta topped with crunchy passion fruit, yogurt, and raspberries.
The taste is refreshingly tart, like a jolt to wake you up.

This strawberry cheesecake is a winner for me, as I am a cheesecake enthusiast. The flavor is well-balanced, with the tartness of the fruit contrasting nicely with the sweet and creamy base. The texture is incredibly smooth and velvety.

As dusk settles, the floating sea zone transforms into a squid fishing haven. Look at those twinkling green lights! This place truly offers a diverse range of activities, catering to various interests. Enthusiasts are sure to find their niche here. As for me, I'm content being a spectator for now. It's time to retire after a fulfilling day. Good night!

Day 2

The day began with a call for breakfast. I wonder if others feel the same way, but a good breakfast can really enhance the overall impression of a hotel.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, both Thai and international. There is also a counter where you can order freshly prepared food. The menu includes rice porridge, noodles, and stews. This area seems to rotate, and during our visit, it was the Vegetarian Festival, so the hotel also offered a vegetarian food corner. Very thoughtful.

I eat very little in the morning, just a tiny bit.

A bathtub on the balcony with a sea view, perfect for soaking and enjoying the scenery. Since I have a perfume allergy, I let my assistant play with the bubbles alone. I won't post any pictures, but let's just say the tub was overflowing. Haha, just kidding! (Actually, I secretly took a warm bath last night. It was amazing!)

Before waving goodbye to our accommodation, let's take a stroll and soak up the atmosphere a little longer.

"We keep Bang Saray for you to collect good experiences."
We can confirm this slogan of the hotel. You will definitely get good experiences. Those who are thinking that the price is too high or may feel hesitant. Personally, I think it's worth the money. In a year, rewarding yourself with a good atmosphere and good service like this should be a good way to recharge your energy. We recommend checking the price in each period or waiting for the promotion during the Thai Travel Fair. Thank you for following us until the end.
