...Our journey to Lijiang City began that morning around 8:30 am. We spent nearly 3 hours on the road, heading towards the World Heritage City of Lijiang...

...The highway we took to Lijiang was still a highway. The morning sun gradually grew stronger as we traveled to another point, which was slowly approaching us bit by bit...

...The path is lined with beautiful and captivating sights that will keep you engaged throughout your journey. ..

...The beautiful journey begins on a bright morning like today. It seems like a good omen to have the weather on our side...

...After about 2 and a half hours, almost 3 hours, the car finally stopped again at the toll booth...

...The first place to experience the essence of Lijiang is "Shuhe Old Town", another famous tourist spot located about 4 kilometers northwest of Lijiang City... Shuhe Old Town is considered one of the old town areas of Lijiang City...

...After spending nearly an hour strolling, capturing photos, and soaking in the diverse atmosphere of Suzhou, I couldn't help but feel captivated by the unique charm of the city. It made me wonder how much more impressed I would be by the larger Lijiang Old Town.

...After settling our belongings at the hotel, we refueled with a hearty lunch before setting out to explore the new world...

...The Old Town of Lijiang was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997 for its cultural significance.

...with its charming customs, traditions, and unique culture, as well as its well-preserved natural environment, this city has earned recognition and is often referred to as one of the most popular tourist destinations in China.

... is another spot that is especially crowded with tourists because it is considered a major landmark of this place.

...He then began to cast his eyes around, walking along the paths of the various alleys and nooks and crannies that he had seen that day. It was strangely beautiful.

...The air today is relatively clear and the sky is bright, but the weather here is not too hot...

...A cool breeze blows intermittently. The afternoon sun at this time in Thailand would be too hot for a walk and taking photos, but here, at the end of April, it's still comfortable enough to walk around...

...The atmosphere, to give you a familiar image, is similar to the various floating markets that are currently popular in Thailand.

...In addition to being ideal for photographers, Lijiang is also likely to be a favorite among shoppers, as it is filled with numerous souvenir shops, as well as various snacks and food items.

...After walking around downstairs for a while, we prepared to walk upstairs to change the atmosphere and enjoy the scenery from a high vantage point.

...Along this section, the path starts to narrow and become steeper, but it's still manageable as there are well-maintained steps.

...At the top of this area there is a viewpoint which requires an entrance fee. The price is quite high, around 400 Thai baht, so it was an easy decision to just walk around the alleys as usual.

...So I decided to find a coffee shop to sit and relax in the breeze for a while...

...From the window of the upstairs coffee shop, you can see a vast expanse of tiled roofs stretching as far as the eye can see.

...It's quite an unusual sight... The breeze blows gently in the late afternoon. I sip my coffee slowly and browse through the photos I've taken on my camera for a while during my break. Then I set off to take more pictures.

...The joy of the journey can still be enjoyed over and over again...

...Every corner I looked at, I was captivated by things I had never seen before...

...For tourists who may be tired of walking or want to change the atmosphere to horseback riding instead, it's interesting.

...should be another kind of fun and comfortable.

...from the walkway above, walk back down again...

...But from now on, we will change the atmosphere to walk along the river within the city...

...The area with a flowing river is mostly lined with restaurants and bars.

...The area below where you walk alongside the river is comfortable to walk in, with plenty of shade from the trees creating a cool and pleasant atmosphere.

...Along the path leading to the Black Dragon Pool, there are souvenir stalls selling a variety of items, mostly small carts selling trinkets, fruits, handicrafts, and woven goods. The stalls line the path that runs parallel to the river.

...Black Dragon Pool is like a public park for Lijiang residents who want peace and quiet, a change of pace to stroll, breathe fresh air amidst trees, flowers, and a large pond in the center...

...The Black Dragon Pool was built during the Qing Dynasty. It is a large pond. If you come during good weather, you will see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the distance as a backdrop... But at this time, the weather is not very good, so you can't see such a beautiful picture...

...The image of the pagoda standing in the middle of the pond reflects its own shadow and the mountains behind it down to the water, creating a truly magnificent picture...

...Happy times always seem to pass by quickly...

...The first night was the only night I spent in Lijiang, due to the limited time and the image of Lijiang Old Town at night... Before going to bed, the image of the old town was still vivid in my mind, reminding me of the corners I had walked through, discovering new things, as if I was reading a new travel book...

...And to avoid disrupting the flow, I'd like to present the photos of "Jade Water Park Yishui Zhai," which we visited last in the afternoon, here to conclude our journey beautifully at the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain next.

...At the Jade Water Park, there is an area that resembles a waterfall built in 3 tiers. ... The first tier is called "Dragon Emerging from the Cave", the second tier is called "Dragon Playing in the Water", and the third tier is called "Dragon Soaring in the Sky". .. At the top tier, there is a statue of a deity that protects the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain for people to worship and pay their respects. .. It is also a place for people to confess their wrongdoings or bad deeds against nature (as shown in the bottom picture).

...The Jade Water Park isn't particularly large, so a leisurely stroll around the park is a pleasant way to spend some time...

...Concluding the Jade Water Park images with a picture of a yak and a giant dog, the park's mascot, welcoming visitors and offering photo opportunities... And from this image, I will take you on a time machine journey back to the morning with a set of special and spectacular shows...

...The road leading to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is clean and smooth. The scenery on both sides of the road can only be described as amazing. If you could drive a convertible here, it would be incredible...

...On one side is a vast open space with scattered trees, depending on the terrain. On the other side is a huge snow-capped mountain range running parallel to the road....

...The photos were taken through the bus window, as the vehicle I was traveling in was a bus...

...The Impression Lijiang show is the brainchild of a renowned Chinese director who has brought numerous works to the world stage, including the films Hero, House of Flying Daggers, and many others. However, his most spectacular and globally recognized work is arguably his role as director of the 2008 Olympic Games opening ceremony.

...What we're seeing right now is truly the result of the dedication of all the actors...

...The Impression Lijiang performance tells the story of the lifestyles, customs, traditions, and cultures of various ethnic groups that have a close connection to the Lijiang River.

... During the performance, English subtitles were projected on a screen beside the stage for the benefit of non-Thai speakers. Of course, I was one of them, but I hardly read them as I was busy taking photos and being amazed by the performance.

...Watching the performance, I got goosebumps at certain points, not because of the cold weather.

... but because of the performance in each section, some sections of the actors came out to play drums, walk and sing with powerful voices shouting in front of the stage ... You can feel how hard they have practiced to make this performance possible.

...The seating area for the audience is well-designed with walkways and tiered levels, ensuring that no one's view is obstructed. However, be mindful that if you get up and walk around too much, you might get a gentle reminder from the staff to maintain order. ...

...It's a good idea to check the schedule beforehand if you're interested in coming. However, it's recommended to watch the morning show because the sun will be shining on the stage from the opposite side, illuminating the red mountains behind the stage, making it even more beautiful. More importantly, you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the snow mountain without being rushed by the next show's schedule...

...Leaving you with this beautiful and awe-inspiring show before we head to the final destination of this trip in the next picture...

...Finally, we arrived at the cable car station. The cable cars were large, with a capacity of 6 people each. ..

...The view from the window was spectacular and vast... From afar, it was now getting closer little by little... About 15 minutes in the cable car seemed very long because the outside air was getting thinner with the height of the area. Plus, the cable car was a closed one with no ventilation or windows... It was a bit torturous for someone like me who is claustrophobic, but there was nothing to be scared of or afraid of...

...Along the way, there are also rest stops where you can sit and enjoy the view, sip coffee, drink hot beverages to quench your thirst, or even instant noodles, which are also available for tourists...

...As mentioned earlier, the highest peak of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is 5,596 meters, but the highest point accessible to visitors is 4,680 meters. During periods of heavy snowfall, access to the highest viewing point may be restricted for safety reasons, and visitors may only be allowed to reach a designated safe point. ...

...Time slowly passes by at the same pace, but the feeling of being here is so fast... Standing here, taking a slow, deep breath, filling my lungs because this might be the first and only time in my life that I have the opportunity to stand on a mountain as big as this...

...and finally, a few more shots of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain to close out the album...

...The journey began from the first day we boarded the plane at Don Mueang Airport, flying with AirAsia to Kunming City, before spending time sightseeing in Dali City, experiencing the beauty of nature and the charm of mountains and rivers... and continuing on to Lijiang, the land of the World Heritage City... Apart from the reputation, rumors of various things that may not be so appealing about China... But this trip, we found many new and beautiful things, and brought back many good memories home...

...And thank you very much to all my friends who stopped by to see me... Both this album in Lijiang and the previous one in Dali .. Hello everyone.
