I hope this is helpful! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Let's get to know DoubleTree a little better.

This hotel is part of the Hilton Worldwide group.

It is not surprising that you may not be familiar with the name of the hotel, as there are many hotels in Thailand.

The only DoubleTree by Hilton in the city is DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit.

In this review, SOtraveler invites everyone to follow along.

The DoubleTree concept emphasizes warmth and hospitality.

DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit offers guests a comfortable and welcoming experience.

How will I feel when you deliver all three things to me? Don't delay.

Let's check in together.

Hello, friends! SOtraveler

Upon entering the hotel, the first thing that caught my eye was the image behind the check-in counter.

A grayscale image that combines iconic landmarks of Bangkok's architecture into a single composition.

For example, the prang of Wat Arun, the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall, and the Phra Sumen Fort, with its golden swing poles standing out prominently.

Convey the meaning of the sentence "Welcome to Bangkok" without using words.

Or, with a single image, the message is conveyed comprehensively, with a unique mood and tone.

Connecting to Bangkok in a historical perspective, which aligns well with the hotel's design concept. Everyone will see the picture.

In subsequent images, as I zoom out to a wider perspective, more will be revealed.

A wide-angle view of the check-in counter, which is decorated with a layered wood design.

Flanked by two antique-style lamps.

In the center of the lobby, there is a sculpture resembling a ball made of wood.

I am unable to ascertain the true meaning and intent behind the statement.

However, I noticed that it became a spot where many people stood and stared at the vase inside.

I secretly thought about wanting to play through like a hoop game.

Some people even put their arms and faces through the hole to pose for playful photos.

The architecture of this building is characterized by its dome shape, with the use of curved elements in various points.

Create an atmosphere that evokes a sense of gentleness and softness.

"Warm welcome cookies"

The signature feature of DoubleTree hotels worldwide is the warm welcome of a chocolate chip cookie. Upon check-in, guests are presented with a large, freshly baked chocolate chip cookie. After receiving mine, I took a commemorative photo to document my experience of enjoying this iconic treat at DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit, just like at DoubleTree hotels around the world.

~ The aroma of chocolate chip cookies wafted into my nostrils, making it impossible to resist. I took a bite from the edge, savoring the flavor before wrapping it back in its paper bag. I couldn't wait to enjoy the rest later in my room. I couldn't help but think that if I were a child accompanying my parents, I wouldn't let the pleasure of these chocolate chip cookies stop. I would hold them in both hands and nibble slowly, savoring the deliciousness while also fearing that a large bite would mean they would be gone too quickly. It's a signature treat that truly creates lasting memories and impressions.

After checking out, I was so impressed that I bought a Chocolate Chip Cookie from the Cookie Bar to take home. I'm definitely not the first guest to fall in love with DoubleTree's Chocolate Chip Cookies. Many other DoubleTree guests have also bought these cookies to take home, some even as gifts. DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit sells them for 390+ baht per box, which contains 6 large cookies.

SOtraveler also has Hilton and DoubleTree bears. The DoubleTree house bear whispered to me that

"Hilton the bear is visiting me today! SOtraveler, please feed him some of my homemade chocolate chip cookies."

The adorable and innocent SOtraveler immediately shared the Chocolate Chip Cookie with Hilton the bear.

After a warm welcome at check-in, it's time to explore the guest room at DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit. Let's take a closer look at the room SOtraveler stayed in.

The guest rooms at DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit are of a moderate size, offering a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The rooms feature a modern design and are equipped with all the necessary amenities to ensure a relaxing and convenient stay.

The room has a 40-inch LCD TV.

The bathroom window offers a direct view into the bedroom.

By opening the bathroom windows to connect them, it creates an airy and spacious feel in the room.

The bathroom features both a regular showerhead and a rain shower. The water pressure is reportedly very strong.

When I need to wash my hands, I no longer walk into the bathroom.

Can I consider it convenient to reach out and wash my hands from the room? :D

Bathroom appliances use Aroma Active, an English skincare brand.

The scent is not very prominent, it is a light and natural fragrance.

DoubleTree's beds are designed with the "Sweet Dreams Sleep Experience" concept in mind.

Sweet dreams, sleep tight. If you want to experience this, you have to try it yourself.

The corner of the room features a round table for working, accommodating guests who are staying for business purposes.

The bed is very comfortable and I slept soundly all night.

The hotel provides ironing boards and irons for guests' use, which can be found in the wardrobe.

The room is well-lit with various types of lighting, each serving a specific purpose.

According to hotel standards, complimentary tea, coffee, hot water, and drinking water are provided to guests.

In the evening, a turn-down service is provided. Staff will close the curtains, dim the lights, and turn down the covers for you. A box containing three macarons will be placed on your bedside table. These macarons are filled with a variety of flavors, each with a distinct and juicy filling.

Having explored every corner of the room, we will now move on to discover the other facilities.

Let's move on to exploring the hotel's amenities, including the restaurants, bars, and fitness center.

Let's take the elevator to the 7th floor, where we'll find some exciting highlights.

The Mosaic includes a swimming pool and a fitness center.

The wall in front of the elevator is decorated with a wooden pattern.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

Capture a unique photo opportunity with the golden goat statue and share it on social media for a stylish touch.

Let me introduce you to "Mosaic," the lounge and bar of this establishment.

Decorated with a retro style using yellow light bulbs and incorporating vintage-style clocks.

I have never seen many of these types of watches before. I only saw them at Mosaic.

At the "Mosaic" you will find a mosaic wall depicting Marilyn Monroe, the iconic actress of the 1950s. While walking by, you might not notice that the wall has a hidden image of Marilyn Monroe's face. However, when you take a picture, it becomes more apparent.

The ambiance of "Mosaic" during the day and night offers distinct experiences. During my recent stay, I captured the relaxed nighttime atmosphere.

At "Mosaic," you can choose to relax at the bar, chill by the pool, or have fun at a table.

The group of friends sat together, laughing and enjoying themselves.

Provide multiple perspectives through photographs.

Adjacent to the "Mosaic" is a swimming pool.

The water is crystal clear and inviting, but unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to take a dip in the pool this time around. Here are some photos to share with you.

The "Mosaic" offers stunning views of the river.

The fitness center is also located on the 7th floor, next to Mosaic.

Let's head down to the first floor and take a look at the retro-style decor.

The walls are adorned with vintage radios, a hallmark of this establishment.

This room provides internet access and document printing services.

I tried it out, and it worked well. I was able to access websites and check my email without any problems. The screen is large and easy to read.

The lobby in front of the elevator features a music player with vintage-style speakers. Another item placed nearby, which appears to be a cash register based on its design and characteristics, is also unclear in its purpose. Both items are displayed on top of wooden cabinets.

This is another great spot for taking stylish photos.

Transistors and music players that once belonged to Jobs in the past. We have all seen the context of transistors in various ways, from listening to the results of the government lottery to carrying them on our shoulders to dance and make music. Today, transistors have become a decorative object of memory.

A nearby angle shows a photograph of this building before its renovation into the DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit. It captures the atmosphere of the past, which, if you were to stand and look at it today, you would see that many things have changed significantly with the times.

This angle is a favorite among many, as it captures the iconic cassette tape corner of a famous singer from the past. For those of us who have just passed our teenage years, the phrase "selling millions of tapes" is likely familiar.

In the era when the popularity of artists was measured by cassette sales, I enjoyed browsing the shelves.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

In the past, when I was a child, I had to save money for a long time before I could buy a cassette tape of my favorite artist. A common trick was to buy a blank cassette tape and record it from the radio waves where the DJ played the song. The DJs in those days would always talk over the songs, so the DJ's voice would be stuck on the song every time I wanted to listen to it again.

Immerse yourself in the retro charm of DoubleTree.

Let's take a look at the restaurant, Dee Lite.

This will take everyone to enjoy breakfast together. Before breakfast, let's capture the atmosphere.

A glimpse of the restaurant's facade.

The overall atmosphere successfully maintains the concept of a contemporary past.

As mentioned earlier, the design concept of DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit incorporates a retro aesthetic, creating a classic atmosphere with subtle touches of understated luxury.

This antique red bicycle has attracted many people to pose for photos with it. As it is conveniently parked as a prop, it invites anyone who sees it to take a couple of souvenir photos.

This lamp is the same style as the sculpture in the lobby.

Retro Ambiance with Vintage Phones and Stainless Steel Barrels

This sentence describes a setting that evokes a retro atmosphere using vintage phones and stainless steel barrels as decorative elements.

A wide variety of milk and juices are available.

The bread zone has a good variety to choose from.

Following breakfast, SOtraveler invites you to continue your culinary journey with dinner at Dee Lite restaurant. Dee Lite's unique feature is its extended dining hours for each meal, allowing guests to savor their food at a leisurely pace.

This dinner buffet starts at 6:30 PM and runs until 11:00 PM.

This seafood buffet dinner is available on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Price 1,690 baht (Net) per person. Seen in the mobile phone restaurant reservation application (eatigo)

My friend followed my recommendation and enjoyed the Seafood Buffet Dinner with a 50% discount from the ongoing promotion.

Eatigo with a large group.

This open kitchen design creates a delightful atmosphere, akin to dining in the heart of the kitchen itself. The constant flow of freshly prepared dishes enhances the dining experience.

Let me highlight the Seafood Buffet Dinner at Dee Lite Restaurant. If you're dining there, don't miss out on trying every item on the menu.

Blue swimmer crab, New Zealand green-lipped mussels, and French Fine de Claire oysters

** A wide variety of fresh sushi and sashimi.

** Lobster stir-fried with cashew nuts

** Fresh Shrimp Pad Thai

** Lamb chop steak

Homemade ice cream

SOtraveler has identified six must-try items at the Seafood Buffet Dinner at Dee Lite Restaurant.

Peeling crab can be messy, but I enjoy it. It's one of my favorite things to eat.

Indulge in the succulent crab meat.

New Zealand green-lipped mussels, with their large, bouncy meat.

The Japanese sushi-sashimi station, manned by a dedicated chef, continuously prepares and presents an array of delectable sushi options. The chef's expertise and creativity are evident in the visually appealing and flavorful sushi, which deserves a five-star rating.

I was thoroughly impressed by the chef's skillful techniques and dedication. The open kitchen concept provided a captivating glimpse into the freshness and meticulous preparation of the dishes. The chef's artistry was a delight to observe, and the meticulous attention to detail was evident in every step of the process.

Sushi comes in a wide variety, and as soon as one plate is nearly finished, the chef prepares the next, making for an enjoyable sushi-picking experience.

Tempura is here.

The Thai Selection restaurant offers a la carte service. Customers can choose their desired dishes by picking up the numbered tongs corresponding to their table and dropping them into a bucket. The staff will then prepare the selected dishes and serve them at the table. Popular menu items include LOBSTER PHAD MED and PHAD THAI with fresh shrimp. Orders are placed directly at the counter.

Lobster stir-fried with cashew nuts is a very easy-to-eat dish that is not spicy at all.

The lobster stir-fry was no small feat.

The stir-fried noodles with fresh shrimp were fragrant and came with several large shrimp.

Pork and lamb for the chef to grill. The chef did an excellent job.

There are many more food lines to choose from.

A pasta corner with the cool name "Pasta the Way You LIKE!!". You can choose your own ingredients or ask the chef for recommendations. The chef suggested spaghetti aglio e olio with a touch of basil for a perfect combination.

The BBQ corner also offers New Zealand mussels, tiger prawns, and salmon, all expertly grilled and ready to eat. This is perfect for those who love seafood but don't want to deal with the hassle of shelling mussels or peeling prawns.

Moving on to the fruits and bakery items, there was a wide variety to choose from, all presented in an appealing manner. I particularly enjoyed the creativity in the arrangement of each pastry.

The homemade ice cream, as recommended in the highlights, has a very rich flavor and is also available in a variety of flavors.

The Buffet Dinner has concluded.
