As the clock neared six in the evening, marking the start of the seafood buffet, I steered my car towards Asoke Montri Road. Thankfully, it being a Sunday, I didn't need to factor in much driving time. On weekdays, I would have opted for the BTS Skytrain instead, arriving at Pullman Bangkok Grande Sukhumvit in a swift and convenient manner. The building, resembling a ship's sail, stands across from the Siam Society. This, my friends, is Pullman Bangkok Grande Sukhumvit. Arriving slightly ahead of schedule, I made my way directly to Atelier, the restaurant on the second floor.

This seafood buffet dinner presents a theme I've never experienced before. While the seafood buffet itself is enticing and aligns with my preferences, as it does with many others, this theme emphasizes showcasing the culinary delights of Thai seafood.

At first glance, when I heard "Seafood from the Thai Sea," my mind immediately conjured up images of sun-dried squid and dried squid from the Pran Buri area, perhaps because I have eaten there frequently.

This seafood buffet dinner features a wide array of fresh catches, including crab, shrimp, squid, sea bass, grouper, mussels, and clams. The seafood is served in various styles, including hot BBQ and on ice, accompanied by a selection of spicy Thai seafood dipping sauces.

On-ice shrimp, the shells are not too difficult to peel. I am becoming more proficient in using a fork to peel shrimp shells.

Crabs are arguably easier to eat, as you can use a fork to extract the meat and dip it in seafood sauce conveniently.

A spicy Thai seafood dipping sauce is a must-have for a seafood meal like this.

At this station, you can enjoy a hot BBQ experience. Simply inform the chef at the station, and they will prepare your BBQ for you.

This buffet includes lamb ribs for those who enjoy them. Steak lovers will likely appreciate the lamb rib steak option.

Steamed cockles and clams, warmed on a hot stove, are a favorite of mine. The ease of eating them, without the hassle of peeling, is what makes them so appealing.

The pasta wafted a fragrant aroma and steamed invitingly. I ordered a small portion, as I wanted to focus on the seafood for this meal.

The rhythmic pounding of mortar and pestle against the wooden bowl at the papaya salad station continues to attract customers. Some customers provide the chef with their desired flavors and ingredients, while others choose to pound the salad themselves. The satisfaction derived from self-made papaya salad is evident in the way customers scoop a portion onto their spoons and savor the taste. This is often followed by a satisfied sigh and a face beaming with delight.

Som tam, a spicy papaya salad, is a must-have dish, often paired with grilled chicken from the carving station. The marinated and grilled chicken is flavorful and complements the tangy som tam perfectly. Seafood is also a popular choice, making for a satisfying and authentically Thai dinner experience.

The BBQ dishes we ordered arrived quickly, even though we hadn't finished serving all the food.


The dinner concluded with a delightful dessert spread, featuring an array of cakes, traditional Thai sweets, ice cream, chocolate fondue, and fruits. The hotel's generous portions and variety rivaled a brunch buffet.

Chocolate fondue, a treat enjoyed by people of all ages, is a popular choice at this buffet. After taking a second helping of food, I decided to indulge in the chocolate fondue, curious to see what all the fuss was about.

After trying it, I realized that the chocolate fondue here is quite strong and will be to the liking of those who enjoy very dark chocolate. They will be especially delighted with the chocolate fondue at this corner.

Teppanyaki-style stir-fried ice cream is also served for dinner. Wow, what a big dinner! Choose ice cream, choose toppings, let the chef stir-fry, and then we get to eat delicious stir-fried ice cream.

A small trick to pair with the crepe, sir. It is located near the place where you ordered the stir-fried ice cream. You can get a freshly made crepe from the stove. Eat it with stir-fried ice cream as a dessert to end your SEAFOOD NOW themed dinner. Let me be overwhelmed with joy!!! Go home with a full stomach and a happy heart.
