A few days ago, I had the opportunity to experience a massage at Bali Spa, Chaophraya Park Hotel. I was so impressed that I wanted to share my experience and the atmosphere with you.
Bali Spa, Chaophraya Park Hotel

The first Balinese-style massage in Bangkok

Bali Spa, the first of its kind in Bangkok, has been operating for 14 years at the Chaophraya Park Hotel. This authentic Balinese spa offers a variety of aromatherapy massages, staying true to its Balinese roots. The spa's dedication to authenticity stems from the owner's passion for Balinese massage. Their love for the practice led them to send a team to Bali, Indonesia, to study and learn about Balinese spa techniques.

Travel

The Bali Spa is located at the Chaophraya Park Hotel on Ratchadaphisek Road. It is located in the Thara Thipp Building, which is opposite the hotel. Once you enter the Thara Thipp Building, take the elevator to the 4th floor.

Upon opening the elevator doors, you are greeted by the fragrant aroma of essential oils and a Balinese-inspired relaxation area. This first impression is quite impressive.

The interior design is inspired by Balinese spas, with a focus on Balinese elements. The color scheme is warm and inviting, with orange and yellow tones, and the lighting is designed to create a sense of relaxation and comfort. The decor is beautiful and stylish, reflecting the Balinese aesthetic. I'll show you some pictures later.

Prior to the spa treatment, you will be presented with a selection of essential oils and asked to complete a form detailing your desired massage pressure and any areas to avoid. While you sip on a refreshing beverage and enjoy a cool towel, your therapist will discuss your preferences and ensure a personalized experience.

During this time, the staff will come and wash your feet for you. The warm water and salt scrub are very gentle, and the staff are very friendly and light-handed. They won't use the salt grains to hurt you, so you don't have to worry about it being too painful.

One of the most special things about this place that I really liked is the privacy. Bali Spa has a total of 7 treatment rooms: 6 single rooms and 1 room for couples. You can even go with your best friend, or your mom, or your dad, or whoever you want! Haha. Plus, the treatment rooms have their own private bathrooms so you don't have to walk far to use the restroom. It's super convenient. When I went, I went with two friends, so we got to use the couples room.

Another advantage of the couple's room is that if we choose a course that includes a mineral bath and milk bath, we can also soak in the jacuzzi inside the room. The large bathtub is very comfortable to soak in.

Many people may view spa treatments as an unnecessary expense or simply a way to relax and enjoy aromatherapy. However, a closer examination reveals the significant importance of spa massages for our physical well-being. Spa treatments serve as a means of restoring balance to the body, particularly for individuals who spend extended periods sitting at desks, leading to neck and shoulder pain due to the formation of adhesions. Addressing these issues through relaxation massages is crucial. When our bodies are happy, we are more likely to experience overall happiness and well-being.
