In an era where many people are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of self-care.
Women want to be beautiful, men want to be handsome, and the trend of exercising is continuously increasing, including the choice of food. Pan herself is not someone who is very picky about eating. She can eat anything from the garden to the restaurant, but she only asks that it be to her taste. A few days ago, Pan had the opportunity to get to know a restaurant near Mahidol University, Salaya. It is a small, cozy restaurant.

Hydroponic Vegetables
This restaurant started with the idea of creating a hydroponic vegetable farm, or a farm that produces pesticide-free vegetables, as many people may already know. They have expanded their business by opening a restaurant that uses vegetables from their own farm as the main ingredients. They sell vegetables to hotels in the city, but they also have a great chef, so they decided to sell food themselves as well.
Let's get to know hydroponics first.
Hydro means water.
Ponos means "work" or "labor".
This refers to water-related tasks, and using water for planting reduces the risk of chemical contamination in the soil for the plants. Wow, Pan seems knowledgeable.
The restaurant, Suk Kin Dai, has recently opened and is considered a new eatery in the Salaya area. The restaurant's newness assures customers that the owners are dedicated to providing excellent service. During my visit, I had the opportunity to tour the vegetable garden behind the restaurant and learned that in the future, the farm will be open to the public for photo opportunities and vegetable picking.
Stroll around the shop.
In addition to the vegetable farm where you can walk and take pictures, the surroundings of the shop are equally stylish. They are arranged as a small garden with gravel paths. In the evening, you can sit outside the shop and watch the sun slowly set. I think it's pretty cool.
On the other side of the shop, you'll find a charming bathroom corner. I love how the shop's design blends modern minimalism with subtle Japanese garden elements, creating a contemporary yet visually soothing atmosphere with the greenery of the decorative plants throughout the shop. Even the bathroom is adorable! Check it out.
Let's step into the shop.
As mentioned, this shop is decorated in a minimalist style throughout, making it look lovely and clean. Although the interior is not very large, I think it's just the right size. If it were any bigger, it might not be as cute as it is now.
Let's eat!
When dining at a restaurant, the focus should naturally be on the food. So, let's get straight to the point. (Wait, was everything I just said not the point?) The concept of this restaurant is to prepare meals for customers as if they were being cooked at home within a family. Therefore, the ingredients used must be of the highest quality, and the flavors must be absolutely incredible.
The most important thing is the fresh vegetables from the farm behind the restaurant. They are picked and cooked immediately, so you can be sure that they are fresh and clean. Let's take a look at the food, shall we? Hahahaha.
Although the restaurant focuses on using hydroponic vegetables in its dishes, it doesn't mean that the entire menu is vegetarian. They also offer meat dishes, but they are served with a full plate of fresh vegetables, making them a healthy and appealing option.
Dust-covered pork
Baked chicken steak with cheese
Rocket salad
Grilled chicken salad
Spaghetti Carbonara
The meal concluded with a special green tea dessert from the restaurant. I must confess that I don't remember the name, but it was delicious and unique. The interesting part was that they added a layer of coffee on top of the green tea, so when you drink it, you get the taste of coffee as well.
mixed berry and cheese pie
Full and satisfied, I'm heading home now. If you're wondering if it was delicious, I think green-minded people and those who enjoy clean eating will love it. The restaurant is beautiful, the atmosphere is great, the owner is friendly, there are fresh vegetables to try, and there's a vegetable farm to take pictures of. I think that's just awesome. What more could you ask for? Oh, and the prices are very reasonable too. I could only capture the visuals for you. If you want to know how delicious it is and if it's to your liking, go try it yourself at the restaurant!
Good bye............
