Ramayana Water Park: A Review
Ramayana Water Park is located in Sattahip District, Chonburi Province, Thailand. It is a popular destination for families and thrill-seekers alike, offering a wide variety of water slides, pools, and other attractions.
Pan, a journalist and translator, recently visited the park and was eager to share her experience. She had originally planned to write about her visit during the Chakri Memorial Day holiday in early April, but due to travel commitments during Songkran, she was unable to do so until now.
Pan's review highlights the park's many attractions, including:
- Water slides: The park boasts a variety of water slides, from gentle slides suitable for young children to thrilling high-speed slides that will get your adrenaline pumping.
- Pools: There are several pools at the park, including a wave pool, a lazy river, and a children's pool.
- Other attractions: In addition to the water slides and pools, the park also offers other attractions such as a zip line, a rock climbing wall, and a food court.
Overall, Pan had a positive experience at Ramayana Water Park and would recommend it to others. She found the park to be clean, well-maintained, and fun for all ages.

Information on Shuttle Services from Pattaya:
Let's travel together…
I don't know what happened T_T
Purchase your water park tickets in advance to ensure a splashtastic time!
Tickets can be purchased directly at the entrance, where there are numerous service counters to avoid long queues. Even when the camera panned to the scene just after the rain had stopped, there were still a considerable number of tourists buying tickets. Initially, I thought that the water park would be deserted after the rain, but to my surprise...
Online Ticket Purchase
In addition to purchasing tickets at the entrance, Pan recommends convenient and affordable online options.
The price is cheaper than buying at the counter, plus there is a special summer promotion.
Price reduction: From 1,190 baht to 790 baht
Student price reduced from 1,190 baht to 595 baht
Student discount: From 890 baht to 445 baht
Upon purchasing a ticket, you will receive a vibrant blue wristband.
The card may appear like paper and seem easily damaged by water, but it is actually a waterproof plastic sheet. More importantly, this card is essential for more than just accessing the building. It also has a QR code for unlocking the lockers we rent and can be used as cash to top up and purchase items through scanning. Now, we don't have to carry cash and worry about losing it.
Park Map
**Let's take a look at the rough layout.** This water park covers over a hundred rai, which is quite large. It would be difficult to walk around aimlessly, so it's important to have a plan. The main things to remember are the location of the restrooms, the first aid station, and the rides. You can walk around the rides in a loop to make sure you don't miss any. My main focus will be on the giant slides over there.
Choose the cabana that suits you
If you're visiting with family or friends and want some privacy, you can rent a cabana. They're located throughout the water park, so choose the zone where you think you'll be spending the most time. For example, some families choose to set up their cabana in the family zone. This way, parents can relax and eat while their children play. My friends and I also had a cabana in the family zone, facing the simulated beach.
At the artificial beach, you can choose to relax on the provided beach chairs instead of renting a cabana. These chairs are available along the entire beach, offering a similar experience of sunbathing by the water. However, the water here is freshwater, ensuring you won't feel sticky afterwards. For cabana rental prices and online booking, please visit Cabana Booking.
What's at Ramayana Water Park, a Hundred Rai of Fun?
A comprehensive description of every aspect would require several web pages, as the resort is vast. The majority of the area is dedicated to water activities, while the remaining space is covered in lush greenery. As some of you who have read my previous articles may know, I am an avid nature enthusiast. This water park nestled amidst the forest and mountains is simply perfect for me.
Ramayana Water Park, a name that many people may be familiar with in terms of its exciting slides. Which is true, it's really fun. But let's talk about that later. Does anyone know that there is also an artificial sea here? There are artificial waves that are just as fun as the real sea. The advantage is that the water is not salty and does not stick to your body.
In addition to swimming in the sea, there is also a lazy river ride. The lazy river is a long river that flows through a forest of trees, waterfalls, and sculptures. It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery.
Children's Zone
For younger children who are unable to ride the thrilling rides, there is a zone specifically designed for them. Honestly, when I saw it, I wanted to play there too! Haha. It's like a miniature castle with pathways, bridges, and everything. I really wanted to play there, but I'm way too old for that now.
Ultimate Slides
Let's move on to the highlight of the playground, the slide! It has thrill levels ranging from kindergarten to master's degree. At first, when I looked at it from below, it didn't seem like much. I heard other people screaming, "Hey, what's the big deal?" But when I played it myself, I was like, "Whoa!" Check out the video above.
No matter how thrilling the rides may seem, there's no need to worry. Ramayana Water Park has lifeguards stationed at almost every point in the park. These lifeguards, easily identifiable by their red uniforms, are there to ensure your safety and well-being.
Some people are stationed at the base of the slide.
Some people have a VIP seat at the riverside hut.
Some people who don't have seats stand cool by the pool.
Or some people go undercover as small fish in clear water (Oops! Is that a small fish? It's not so small anymore, hehe).
For added safety, grab a life jacket from the various corners of the water park. While they may look like they've seen better days, I've checked them, and they're safe. Go ahead and use them!
While secretly taking pictures of the lifeguard, Pan noticed that there was also a bar in the water. She learned that on some days, there are DJs who play records, drink beer, and dance in the middle of the water. It's so much fun!
Drinking a lot of beer and being in the water will make you pee frequently, right? Pan asked to visit the bathroom for a moment. The bathroom is very good, there are many and they are well-decorated. I like it.
Take a picture.
Nestled amidst a sprawling valley, Ramayana Water Park boasts a picturesque setting with lush greenery and architectural elements inspired by the Ramayana epic. This combination creates a plethora of stunning photo opportunities.
Let's digress a bit on the topic of attire.
Wear a regular swimsuit, but I have a little advice for those who think they have to go on an adventure here. You have to slide down all the slides, so wear something that's a little more secure. This is a suggestion for girls. Like me, I usually wear a bikini when I go swimming, but I know it's going to be extreme, so I have to save myself a little. Haha. I can tell you a little secret. When I and my friends went to play the freefall slide, which is a machine that will drop us down 90 degrees at high speed, we were waiting for our friends to come down. Then a woman came down first. The water pressure was very, very strong. Her bikini came off, and her breasts popped out. I could barely cover it up. Oh, I don't want to think about how embarrassed I would be if I fell out too. Haha.
Let's move on to taking photos. When you come to a water park, you have to take photos with water, right? It's refreshing. Take a photo as a couple.
The artificial seawater here is a vibrant blue, even when the sky is overcast. The photos turned out great!
Did you know that Ramayana Water Park not only has super fun rides and super cool photo spots, but also has another amazing thing that's just as good? There's both a buffet and a la carte menu.
Food, of course!
The dining area was massive, with seating available both downstairs and upstairs, where you could enjoy the view. We opted to sit downstairs, intending to eat quickly and head to the water. However, we ended up spending a good hour in the dining room, devouring the delicious food.
This group of friends and I are big eaters, so when we arrived at the water park, we had to try the signature dishes: the Thotsakan pizza, the Hanuman pizza, and other Thai and Western dishes. This is food for five people. We thought we were feeding the whole village.
Looks delicious, doesn't it? If I were to explain the taste in detail, I don't think you would understand anyway. Why don't you try it for yourself?
Is food only available in the dining room?
The area is lined with small shops selling traditional Thai desserts. These shops are decorated in a Ramayana style. Payment is cashless and can be made using the wristband provided. It is recommended to top up the wristband with sufficient funds to avoid the need for frequent top-ups at the dining hall. Any remaining balance can be refunded at the souvenir shop near the entrance upon departure.
Would you like a massage if you are tired from playing?
Pan likes this part. If Pan had arrived at the water park earlier and had more time to play in the water, Pan thinks she would definitely have gotten a Thai massage. But since she arrived in the afternoon, she got caught up in playing and wanted to try everything. Ahhhhh, next time then, huh?
