The journey continues on the fifth day, with a long drive of 100km to Brussels, the capital city. An early start is necessary to make good time. The drive takes about two hours, with stops for food and sightseeing along the way. The allure of exploring different cities while driving has become an addiction. With 20km remaining before reaching Brussels, a sign for Aalst catches my eye. Intrigued by the unusual name, I decide to make a detour. The visit to Aalst serves as a welcome distraction before entering the bustling capital.

Small towns like this often hold hidden charms that never disappoint.

After that, drive into Brussels. You can find places to visit there. Go wherever you're interested. There are a lot of cars, so it's difficult to drive. It's a bit difficult to find free parking, but there is some. Look around carefully. ...But driving in Brussels... is difficult. But just go with the flow, don't be afraid. If you get lost, just turn around.

Brussels boasts numerous captivating landmarks. Unfortunately, I was unwell during the evening and could not capture the city's nighttime illumination.
