The northern side of the mountain features a large natural opening, resembling an empty eye socket, which contributes to its skull-like appearance. This unique geological feature is the origin of the name "Khao Kalok."

We drove along the smooth road of Pranburi beach and came across Khao Khao Khao. After parking the car, we started exploring the path. We found a nature trail right next to the road, but we didn't go up yet. We went for a walk on the beach instead.

The beach here is relatively peaceful, with few people around. However, the most striking feature is the large rocky mountain with numerous caves and crevices.

As we continued to walk along the rocky mountain, we stumbled upon a path leading up the mountain from the beach. We assumed that it would connect to the other path we had encountered earlier, so we decided to follow it.

The hike up this hill is not too tiring. The distance is not far, and the incline is slight. It is a comfortable climb for beginners.

Upon reaching the viewpoint, let's find a way down. We're sure it's the right way, down the side road. Haha, let's guess the way.

The return journey was more enjoyable than the ascent, as there were no steep sections. The rocks were also easier to navigate, and there were small caves to admire. There were also several opportunities to crawl through holes in the caves, making it a truly memorable half-day trip.
